Atlantic Golf Camp - 2026 - Fredericton, NB
The application period for Soldier On members wishing to participate in the Atlantic Golf Event, 2-7 July is now open.
The application deadline is 1 June 2026.
AIM AND SCOPE OF EVENT:
As part of the Soldier On National Golf Series, the Atlantic Canada Golf Camp will be held in the Fredericton/Oromocto area from 2–7 July 2026. Selected Soldier On members from across Atlantic Canada will have the chance to take part in four days of golf clinics hosted by local courses, designed to help participants enjoy the game while brushing up on the fundamentals and building on their current skills, with a focus on full swing, chipping, and putting. Each clinic day will wrap up with an 18-hole round of golf, and on the final day, participants will also have the opportunity to tee it up in the Pro-Am at the Explore NB PGA Tour Americas tournament.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Any serving member or veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF)
from the Atlantic Area (NL, NS, NB, PEI) who acquired a permanent physical or mental health illness or injury while enrolled as a member of the CAF; whether attributable or not to service.

Serving members will require the approval of their Chain of Command to participate.
DRAFT SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
2 July – Travel Day, check into hotel, and meet and great.
- 3-6 July – Golf instruction and play at a different course each day, courses to be announced on arrival to the camp.
- 7 July – Travel Day AM departure.
TRANSPORTATION, MEALS & ACCOMMODATIONS:
Travel assistance will be provided and coordinated by the Soldier On Regional Coordinator in conjunction with Soldier On Operations. The most economical means of transportation to and from events will be prioritized and discussed with members via the event OPI or delegate.
Meals will be provided throughout the event, meal purchased while traveling will be eligible for reimbursement.
Accommodations will be arranged and paid for by Soldier On. Accommodations are double Occupancy, 2 participants will be in one room.
Mental & Physical Requirements:
Applicants must be able to tolerate 6–8 hours of moderate-paced activity for four consecutive days, including time spent on the driving range, short game practice areas, and playing 18 holes of golf. Golf carts will be available; however, due to the structured daily schedule, applicants should have minimal need for extended rest periods throughout the day.
Applicants must be able to safely swing a golf club and participate in all aspects of the clinics and on-course play, and must not be in violation of their MELs.
Applicants will be joined with other ill/injured members and civilians, and therefore should be able to function in a social environment. Applicants are advised that the activity and meals for this event is/may be located at Canadian Armed Forces bases/facilities, and thus they may be exposed to a day-to-day military environment. Applicants also acknowledge that there will be no alcohol allowed in the accommodations, and will be required to share accommodations.
